Danish Edtech Justlearn works to democratize access to language training

Justlearn is Danish ed-tech company founded in 2017 with a mission to democratize access to language learning.  The mission behind Justlearn it to be able to teach language without attending  any classes, educational institutions, or standardized language courses.

Justlearn plans to democratize acces to language learning through customization. Each student learns at their own pace with a dedicated tutor, always a native speaker of the language learned.  Currently,  Justlearn supports over 70 languages, by connecting students with native-speaking tutors from around the world.

Learning from locals

Philip Rossen founded the company due to his enthusiasm for traveling and immersing himself in the cultures of countries he visited.  He quickly realized how important it is to learn a new language from the locals and how language learning is so much more than a bunch of words, phrases, and proper grammar.

Recently, the company has joined Antler, an entity that invests in founders from around the world and across a wide range of areas from emerging sectors.
