The infoShare Startup Contest in Poland gives you a chance to win 10,000 euro in cash plus an opportunity to tap into the pool of further 850,000 euro accumulated by investors. At the event you will also have the chance to show yourself to international Venture Capitalists and meet the Polish startup community. What’s not to like?
The Startup Zone Festival
The contest is part of The Startup Zone Festival in Poland, which is the biggest tech, new media and startup gathering in Central and Eastern Europe. The festival takes place at the 11th and 12th of June in Gdansk, Poland.

Startup contest with a bunch of opportunities
The contest is aimed at early stage startups who are in the phase of implementing their ideas. Besides the chance of meeting mentors and investors and present your startup before a jury you can win 10,000 euro in cash as well as part of the 600,000 euro.
“There is certainly something for compete for! Thanks to our partners the best startups will contend for a share in the total pool of 850,000 euro accumulated by the investors expected at the infoShare. The winners will be awarded 10,000 euro in cash funded by the City of Gdansk. We are heading for a truly unforgettable rivalry contest, and since the pool of awards has grown only recently, we have decided to give more time for applications so that those for whom 10 000 euro was not sufficiently motivating can have another opportunity” says Agnieszka Meller of the Gdańsk Business Incubator STARTER, organiser of the infoShare Startup Zone.

At the semifinals each startup pitches before a jury who will select 5 startups for the finals. Between the semifinals and the finals there is another chance to pitch and this time the audience will choose 2 startups to enter the finals. The finals will take place at the 12th of June.
The startup zone will be led by the Danish entrepreneur and investor Lasse Chor known as the Happiest Man Alive.
