So, the day 1 of Slush 2024 in Helsinki delivered a vibrant mix of innovation, networking, and forward-looking discussions. Hosted at the Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre, this year’s theme, “Metamorphosis,” encouraged participants to explore radical transformation in technology and business. The event brought together 5,500 startups, 3,300 investors, and countless industry leaders to forge connections and exchange ideas.

So, the key highlights included dynamic keynotes from top founders and industry visionaries, spotlighting transformative trends in AI, climate tech, and biotechnology. Panels on scaling deep-tech solutions and fostering sustainable growth captivated audiences. Meanwhile, the advanced matchmaking tool facilitated thousands of 1:1 meetings, ensuring startups and investors maximized their networking opportunities. And so many side events, during the day, and especially after, at the numerous side events.

As we wrote on another post, the Slush100 competition showcased innovative startups vying for the spotlight, culminating in a pitch finale that celebrated the most promising companies. Beyond the stage, the event featured investor lounges, media hubs, and immersive sessions, all designed to amplify the collaborative energy Slush is renowned for​.
