Onehundredforty is now live on Kickstarter
The Kickstarter Staff picked their project, definitely for their originality. There are only 22 days to go before the project of a group of creatives from Stockholm will end their pledge on the famous crowdfunding site. And if you think that, you need to redecorate your home with a more original and personal touch, this is your chance.
Onehundredforty is a project which wants to bring some personality in the field of prints. Many of us turn to have the same old print of a painting or a famous quote on the walls of our apartments. Their revolutionary and personifying option is, to make a personal sentence part of our daily environment, creating unique prints.
But this is not a simple printing company that will print, in low quality, whatever the customer will pick up.
The creatives use a meticulous design and smart programming that merges the chosen words and letters with artists’ creativity, in order to produce a one-of-a-kind art print that tells a personal story. First a sentence is decided, then a design is created – the background of the print is also selected- and afterward, the print get sent and delivered.
The title of the project refers to the character that can be used on Twitter: this social media is seen as an interesting way to bridge the digital and the analog world. A sentence of 140 character can contain powerful meanings, and for sure, personal sentences could way more represent our own spaces, than mass produced ones.
However to make this a reality, the group need a couple of more member in the programming field, and a super good printer.
