Stockholm-based fashion startup Looklet gains H&M executive

After 15 years at H&M, Jordan Nasser has joined the Stockholm-based start-up company Looklet, a fast-growing fashion and tech B2B start-up.

Jordan Nasser was the Global Head of Digital at H&M, working with all the digital channels for the international fashion retailer from 2008-2014. An early digital media adopter,  he oversaw the implementation of social media platforms for the retail giant.

After 15 years at H&M and a two-year sabbatical, Nasser has re-joined the retail industry at fashion and tech start-up Looklet to help the company improve their digital experience and customer communication.

Looklet is a B2B company who aim to challenge the way the industry sees fashion imagery. The Look Creator is a hardware and software solution that transforms traditional image production to a modern, scalable and industrialized workflow for fashion e-commerce companies globally. The tool simplifies the entire photo process, from photographing the actual garment at the client’s own location, to digitally styling it and adapting it to their needs. The client achieves a result of consistent, high quality images that are ready to be published.

“After taking a break from 15 years of retail, I am happy to join a team of innovative, creative thinkers who are working hard to reimagine fashion imagery. I am excited to bring my past experience in digital marketing to Looklet to increase their brand awareness. Everyone who uses our Look Creator will believe it’s magic,” says Jordan Nasser in a press release.

Since 2009 Looklet have been in the forefront of the intersection of fashion and tech. The same year Nasser, while at H&M, initiated a co-operation with Looklet that lasted until 2013. Looklet initially created an interactive styling studio on H&M’s marketing website which eventually evolved to a tool for the global e-commerce team.

Nasser is now a part of Looklet’s team, which has continued to perfect their innovations in dynamic fashion imagery. Today the Look Creator is installed at high profile fashion e-commerce companies in US and Europe, and Looklet processes over 5,000 fashion images each day. The company is expanding fast and has within its growing team personnel with great experience from fashion and tech companies such as H&M, Zalando, Oracle, King, Boston Consulting Group and more.
