Finnish mobile technology company meshly is building a community of people seeking to explore immediate Opportunities around them – like professional offers, expert help, events and networking meetings or even just lunch.
“We have seen the need for meshly many times when looking to find great people or trying to start businesses abroad without an existing network”, says CEO Niko Porkka in a recently published press release.
Meshly users can browse the rolling Opportunities feed and post their own directly to the app interface. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a co-founder for your next tech venture, or just want to discuss some marketing ideas over drinks, the Opportunities feed in Meshly is exactly what you need. One swipe is enough to show your interest in an Opportunity and off you go.
Meshly is first and foremost mobile as it aims to bring instant connection to the best opportunities available. It also lets users communicate through chat messages and the application works both on iOS and Android. All Opportunities are valid only for a limited time, making Meshly the most dynamic and local mobile community in the market.
“There are already services, such as LinkedIn, for managing your contacts but nothing exists to find new opportunities and we truly believe that is what people are looking for, especially in a fast-paced work environment where there might be a time crunch” the CEO says.
The company was founded in 2014 and is based in Finland with a mobile development studio in Ukraine. It has already raised €150K in seed funding and looking for more at Arctic15.
