Noisli is Starbucks Coffee’s Pick of the Week
Last fall the startup Noisli was part of the Startupbootcamp Mobile accelerator program in Copenhagen. Now, Apple and Starbucks have chosen them as Starbuck’s Pick of the Week and therefore it will be available as a free download in all Starbucks shops in USA and Canada for the entire week.
This is revealed by CEO and founder of Noisli, Stefano Merlo. Noisli has made a program which improves the work environment by establishing an optimal sound level. The problem in many open-plan offices is that the sound level is too loud and thus distracts the employees and breaks the concentration. On the other hand it has been proven that total silence is neither conducive for the concentration and efficiency. This is why Noisli is here now.
Noisli establishes a wall of sound on a level proven optimal by scientific research, which is either conducive for productivity or relaxation. It can be the sound of being in a forest or at the beach, rain or a crackling fire.
Relaunch gives free access to new features
Since the startup took off in 2013 they have worked on optimising the product. In February the company relaunches their website with a number of new features which are available for free for the users.
Among the new features is the possibility of creating playlists which can be saved and shared among users. Further it becomes possible to time the wall of sound so that it gives you automatic reminders to take breaks from working.
And the potential of the startup has not been overlooked by Apple. So should you come by a Starbucks in either USA or Canada within the next week you are able to download Noisli’s app for free and start working more efficient than ever.
