World Cup Tech Challenge is for the next generation of the hottest emerging technology companies from around the world. To get an impression of what awaits you if you get accepted see this video from last year’s event.
Your startup must be in a pre-global stage. This means that you have launched your products in your respective local markets and are now ready for a global launch.
First step is to fill out an application form. In order to be considered for the competition visit the application page, fill out all the boxes, and upload an Executive Summary of no more than two pages together with a 2-minute video-pitch (video is optional for the application phase, but will be mandatory for the online voting if your company qualifies to the finals).
Through a thorough qualification process by 35 judges 24 Startups from across the globe are selected. The startups compete in the following 6 different groups:
Each group has 4 spots available, and a country can only be represented once in a group.
Last year Norwegian Isentio won the category HealthTech. If you think your startup should be the next to represent your country and the Nordic region then get a move on and send your application today.
The deadline for submission is set to be on April 27 however; applications will be screened as they come in, and therefore you are strongly encourage to send in your application before the deadline. The 24 qualified startups will be announced no later than May 10.
The very challenge will take place on the 4th of June at Microsoft Campus in Silicon Valley.
