Startup Extreme invites you to do extreme sports with your next investor
On June 15-17th, Startup Extreme is inviting an exclusive group of investors, media, connectors, and founders to the small west coast town of Voss, Norway to get to know a selection of the coolest Nordic founders. The twist? Participants will get to know each other while enduring extreme sports in the Norwegian fjords.
By having the attendees doing extreme sports together, the organizers aims to facilitate strong relationships between investors, media and founders.
The Nordic startup scene is hotter than ever, and has given rise to some giant startups. But the region is fragmented, and can benefit from further collaboration across borders.
“By inviting the international community to meet investor-ready startups, we hope to facilitate more funding and visibility for startups,” says Maja Adriaensen, CEO of Startup Norway and Founder of Startup Extreme.
Last year’s inaugural edition saw 3 investments and 25 articles as a result. Attendees of the Summit also get to attend the Startup Extreme Conference in Bergen June 15 ,themed “Opportunities of the Entrepreneurial Revolution,” which will include lectures and the chance to pitch to a closed group of investors.
Confirmed investors include Alliance Venture, Techstars, Televenture, Qualcomm Ventures, Rivet Ventures, Angel Challenge, and Founders Fund.
